Accessibility
The Starry Nights Ranch is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines outlined in the Level Double-A of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) WCAG 2.0 LEVEL AA.
According to our test results, Individuals using the NVDA screen reader can book a room without assistance from a 3rd party on our public-facing pages. NVDA (Non-Visual Desktop Access) is a free screen reader that allows people who are blind or visually impaired to use computers. This screen reader is backed by the American Foundation for the Blind (AFB).
On our website, thestarrynightsranch.com, we strive to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, but it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website. If you have any issues using the Website and need assistance, or just want to report an accessibility issue, please contact us at (877) 314-7380.
Starry Nights Ranch lodge offers partial accessibility. We have both a stairway and a wheelchair ramp from ground level to the front door. The one obstacle, however, is a 6-inch rise from the front deck into the great room. One of the lodge rooms, the Mesa Verde Room, is mostly accessible with solid surface floors and a private bath which has a step-in shower with seat and hand-held shower spray. The vanity height is adjusted to accommodate individuals who are unable to lean over.
