The Mesa Verde Room
The Mesa Verde Room, as its name implies, has direct, clear views of Mesa Verde National Park as well as southern Colorado's La Plata Mountains. Along with its neighbor, the Anasazi Room, its decor reflects the influence of Colorado Plateau's ancient residents--the Anasazi, or Ancient Puebloans. Two people can relax in its comfortable queen bed with additional sleeping space available for up to 2 more family members on the adjacent day bed and pull-out trundle (both full size twins). The attached private bath has a higher vanity suitable for those who cannot lean down to conventional vanity heights. The vanity also sports numerous drawers for personal items. The shower has a built-in seat and hand-held spray for convenience. There is a generous-sized closet in the room for hanging and storing clothing and other personal possessions. The ambience is further enhanced by a puebloan-styled gas fireplace thermostatically-controlled.
